Parenting 101: The Undergradute Class

5 Simple Rules:

• Moderation - everything in life is about moderation
• Respect - yourself first and then everyone else
• No Idle Threats - follow-through is key
• Challenge - challenge authority (in a respectful way) - it is the only way we all get better
• Contribute - teach them to find something they can be passionate about and ensure it contributes to the overall betterment of society

I am posting this to give my current boss kudos for a phrase I have never heard: the "Universal Untrained User." As of today, you cannot find it in a Google search or any other that I queried.

The concept is simple. If a system/service/platform is well-designed, a user will not need any training to use it beyond them self-exploration.
